Vietnam was called Champuchea when these were built. I walked around these very ruins, as Dave apparently did. They are overgrown with vines and trees. When I formed CAP 1-1-4, our compound was built surrounding similar ruins on Highway 1 a couple of miles north of Tam Ky.

The ruins of the 3 Cham Dynasty (8th to 12th Century, I think) temples near the road from India to Tam Ky.
