Dave took this shot looking northeast at the Cham temples in the center of the picture. Dave is on the road from India to Tam Ky. Not much of a road, as you can see. I did not like to cross this open area. Thick stuff on other side was a good ambush site.

I don't know who those people are. Definitely an officer or Corpsman in the rear. Note he is armed with a .45. Can't tell if the other is armed, possibly in his right hand.
