Lunchtime in the 'ville. Far left is Clarence "Moose" Sorenson. I (John Whitfield) am sitting directly across from him with my back to the camera. Does anyone recognize any of the other Marines?

This was "Tom", our Chieu Hoi. Remember him, Tim. I believe you have referred to him as one of the best fighters we had. (John) I would not have recognized him as a "chieu hoi", altho I do recognize his face. (See next picture, CAPVet)

I believe the above picture may be PF Chong pictured here from my return trip in 1996. CAPVet

I believe that one of these PFs was their leader. (John) It's possible that the leader I knew was replaced. However, at the time I was there, the PF Sgt. was Truong Si Buong, pictured below left. CAPVet

This was the PF Sgt., Truong Si Buong, when I was still at Papa 2/4. In 1996 I learned that he survived the war, only to die in an automobile accident sometime in the early 1990s. CAPVet
