Here is a picture testimonial as to how stupid 2 Marines can be. Joe Kortz and I were on day patrol and out by DB1 or DB2. We came across this, and naturally HAD to get a picture! I think it was one of those idiotic trips with the SEALS who used to come out and plant sensors.....that is, they stood at the edge of this patch of jungle while the Marines were expected to place them.  I can't remember how this was disposed of, but I do recall Lt Johnson hearing about it and commenting on the level of stupid we had been elevated to in his estimation.
