The following is list of fine graphics of Loc Bon, location of CAC Alpha 3. The pictures were taken by Corpsman Dave Church. Since Dave was there in late 1965, these pictures represent one of the earliest of the CAC/CAP efforts.

Due to the size of the pictures, we have simply provided links. I scanned the pictures in their original size, and some of them are very large, so be prepared for an extensive load process.

1) The bunker behind Bac Si Quiyet's house
2-4) Ngan's (and her father "Fop" who was always drunk...or "Xi") house
11) Ngan
14) Hasi-Nyut Chevrons
15) French Bunker on right of Hwy 1 as you exit the 'ville towards Phu Bai.
19) two older girls...(Ngan and Kam (???))
19-1) Ngan
34) the rightmost man looks like he could either be a Ngia-quen named Sot, or Bac Si Quiyet.

Note: Graphics 19 thru 19-5: in mid-1967, after I was wounded and left Papa 2, I worked "Supply" out of Phu Bai. In running the supply trip south every other day, I met, and became friends with, this family. I took the following picture of them in late 1967....two years after Dave Church took the pictures included in this set. You can imagine my surprise when Dave "DCCd" pix of this family on the IRC one evening!
